Friends~

Cynthia does need friends. She's relatively an open person as long as you don't have a history of bad stuff. Meaning any Team Ultimatum, don't even bother. Don't even. Of course, all others are perfectly welcome. In addition, it should be pretty much given that Cynthia is pretty good friends all of the gym leaders, professors, champions, and elite four members (especially those in Sinnoh). Even if you're just a regular trainer, just ask and Cynthia could be your friend. We all need friends. :)


Enemies~

Remember all the sadness and frustration;

Being a Champion, Cynthia will have quite a few of these. I mean, she's your normal back-stabbing famous figure thorughout the whole world. And she hates Team Ultimatum. All of them are her enemies. If you have any other ideas, just tell me, I'm open. She also needs rivalsSpot saved for Giovanni as rival (I didn't ask but this is pretty much given from our conversations).

Of course Cynthia actually has feelings! What are you talking about? Well, Owl came up with the idea of a love triangle with Lance and Steven. However, no one has claimed these yet. If anyone wants to, go right ahead, I'd appreciate it. Any other ideas, just post here!

Others? Any ideas? Just post here! Cynthia is prone to having apprentices, kids that she feels have talent. She helps them along their way and such. Still, I'm open to anything.

Both come from the same home town yet vastly different. I was thinking a friend and stuff? maybe Cynthia is intrigured by her abilities? Despite being younger, she is quiet mature. So maybe she also plays a role in the supporter and tries to help Cynthia take down Giovanni? Let's face it..we Sinnoh people do NOT want that guy as our champion..

Yeah! I could totally see them as being friends, probably really good friends since they come from the same hometown. And Cynthia would probably be a bit intrigued as well as a bit afraid of her powers (She'd probably try to find some kind of explanation for them through the legendaries). And Cynthia has mostly given up hope at this point in time about Giovanni, maybe she could help Cynthia get back on track by approaching her with a plan or something.

They've already met a few times, manga-wise. Although it wasn't generalized to Diamond specifically, although the loss of her title Diamond certainly would be concerned after he heard the news. I'm sure it wouldn't kill Diamond to get to know the ex-champion, as he knew her as the Champion and did admire her for her strength.

[Late reply yo!] I find that okay. People are afraid they don't understand. If someone just said "I can move things with my mind" people will either thing your insane, weird, or be afraid. That or don't care. XD Plus fear is a hint of respect in some cases.

Maybe she views Cynthia like an older sister / role model? Or something as well?

They probably would know each other and all. Dia most likely would be rather shocked at the loss of her title and Cynthia would probably try to recruit him in the fight against Team Ultimatum seeing that she knows his own strength as well, Being from the same region, they would share the same concerns. Cynthia might even turn to him for news in Sinnoh, seeing that she doesn't really want to go back and face the region again.

CHUN AND CYNTHIA~

Cynthia would definitely respect Chun for the whole powers thing. She would probably try to talk Chun into using them for the benefit of the League. Maybe Chun doesn't want to be commited to one side? Or something. But Cynthia's seen some pretty weird stuff. At first, she'd probably be freaked out, then she'd just accept Chun's powers the way that they were. Cynthia might also try to help her along, mainly just because she thought of her as a little sister that she wants to keep safe.

Shocked, concerned.. Does it matter? If anything he most likely has already heard of her title loss by now, everyone else seems to know it... But yeah, I would love all that personally and I can see all that happening as well.

I was thinking, both Caleb and Cynthia are the same age with similar personality types, both out to take down Team Ultimatum and both extremely gifted trainers. I'm interested in Caleb having several individuals that knew him rather well before his accident on victory road and Cynthia seems like the kind of person that he'd have valued as a traveling companion during his younger years.

Caleb himself traveled the region of Sinnoh during his mid teens, around his fifteenth and sixteenth years. I've always liked the idea of him having found his Aerodactyl (his strongest pokemon), in a ruin of some sort and I noticed that Cynthia's background stated that she was heavily into exploring the unknown areas of the region during her younger years.

This would work well in my opinon! Cynthia would contact him and Pearl (if he's up for it) and would try to comission them to do things in Sinnoh for the League in her absence (because she obviously doesn't trust Giovanni). We should work something out.

CALEB AND CYNTHIA~

This is perfectly logical, it would make sense that Cynthia travelled with someone in Sinnoh during the early years. They would be really good friends I believe and of course Cynthia would know how strong he is and about his accident. She might have even hired him for the League or something. And maybe we could do a flashback thread with Caleb catching Aerodactyl? I really don't know, but they definitely should know eachother.

PEARL & CYNTHIA

Hell-yes. Pearl has been waiting for an opportunity like this for years. Teaming up with his old buddy old pal, Diamond and helping a new friend out would be the best opportunity given to Pearl in a long time. He too, would be shocked as he had been waiting to try and defeat the mighty Cynthia, only for her to lose the title. Analyzing Giovanni would also be a side quest for Pearl as he triumphs through the tasks given to him. If he sees the throne is for the taking, he's going to take it.

I can definitely see them being great friends. And yeah, we can go ahead and say that she was the one who approached him later in life for his current position in the Pokemon league. I'm also sure it's only a matter of time before he ends up working close together with both her and Steven. As for the flash back thread, I think it's something that would be best saved for further on down the line.

Aglaia && Cynthia ---

HERE IS MY IDEA!
When Aglaia ran away from home and after her training in Johto, she meet Cynthia. There she begged her to take her on her travels. Cynthia agreed. They eventually had a family like friendship. Hey..she views Cyn as more of a family then her blood kin. She is sorta like Max to May in Pokemon..except she had Pokemon and had a better attitude. >_>

PEARL AND CYNTHIA~

Cool! I do like that idea a whole lot. But if Pearl takes the Champion title, Cynthia's gonna pretty much hate him for a while. And they might find his body in a ditch somewhere along the road... jk. But in all seriousness, if that did happen, they would not be friends at all, at least for a little while. But this would be interesting I think.

CALEB AND CYNTHIA~

I really do love the idea of them being good childhood friends! Cynthia would contact him often to do things for the League, she would trust him immensely if they had known each other for a while. And yeah, we could probably do a flashback sometime in the future, I don't really know, whenever we feel like it.

AGLAIA AND CYNTHIA~

This is really awesome! Cynthia might not have opened up to Aglaia at first, but eventually she would welcome her as a companion, then friend, and then finally a sister (of course, this all happened in the past). Cyn would view Aglaia as the little sister she never had and would be pretty protective over her. Meaning that she would hassle N a lot if something does happen between them. They should be like Max and May! Except Aglaia is better than Max in my opionion...

Why thank you! I can see Aglaia be a cute yet sometimes annoying smartass back then. I agree - maybe they didn't trust each other at first but an incident tossed them to cooperate and then be friends XD She acted tough but is easily frighten. Maybe when Cynthia was traveling around with Aglaia and Caleb..Aglaia is the one who who cooked for them? And maybe helped nurse the pokemon's injuries if they were wounded? She wanted to be a Doctor for Pokemon.. BUT! Her low income and cash and little time caused her to fail and have to quit. >_> And oh no! Poor N and aglaia..she might end up as an old maid at this rate..XD. By Max and Relatonship..I mean they have arguements, playful fights to petty ones. But they are protective and care about each other. And of COURSE Aglaia is better then Max!. On the side note..Since they traveled together for a while..Maybe Cynthia is aware of Aglaia's abilities for longer..but doesn't know completely about them? >_>; IDK...
