This guy loves to flirt, older girls? Younger girls? Threatening situations? Nothing stops him from trying to show that he has game... even though he is almost constantly shot down. Girls who are easily flattered or take his comments lightly might actually find him amusing, and want to stick around this clown for a little while Though many might view him as one of the most.... unorthodox Pokedex Holders, Gold has a good sense of humor and really does like people. He is also an excellent trainer, I mean he helped save Johto and the Pokedex holders with only a ton a little bit of help from the others. So he would probably be game for a quick battle here and there, some Pokemon related friendships (what else is there anyway?) and a few lighthearted buddies would be great for Gold. Wing men? Yes please! I'm open to pretty much any plot ideas for friends so lets hear them!

Gold doesn't really mind stealing if it means getting what he wants and that includes flirting with your girlfriend so boys, keep them on a tight reign around this fella! Which of course means that some girls will be rubbed completely wrong by Gold's equal opportunity flirting. I could see him having a few females who are disgusted by the site of him because of his attempts at flattery. Along with enemies might come rivals, people who don't need to dislike him, but might feel as though they are better than him... I mean he is only sixteen, I'd expect quite a few people to feel as though they'd be superior to this kid (especially with all of his odd antics).

Of course he doesn't have much experience with anything past flirting, but he'd try his best to be a good boyfriend, even though he'd fail miserably sometimes. Any girls that want to be with Gold would need to be tolerant think training an easily distracted canine... painfully painfully tolerant. She would probably also need to get him out of the habit of flirting with other girls, though if it is someone he really cares about he might start to actively try to change that aspect of his personality, though slips should be expected. As for broken hearts, this kid would jump right back into his old habits, and probably wouldn't be the type that would want to be 'just friends'. I love relationship/shipping drama so if you have any ideas, even little tiny ones I'm pretty sure I'd be game to try them out!

i was thinking that maybe they should already be familiar with each other, unfriendly rivals at that. no doubt gold dislikes silver for being a pokemon-hating thief and all, lol. silver doesn't like gold's sunny, cheeky manner at all, and always end up bumping heads with gold to put him in his place, or so he says.

I think they work well together when they absolutely need to, but they are really a bit too different to actually be friends in a normal environment. Gold is a flirt who certainly seems to think he is more BA than he actually is and he sees Silver as a shady character who is up to no good. He would definitely see Silver as a rival, acknowledging that Silver is smarter than him in a lot of ways but he is constantly trying to beat him out by becoming a kick arse trainer. Also I'd love to see Silver put Gold in his place, this kid's ego is getting too big and will probably need a bit of deflating soon. Bringing Crystal into the picture wouldn't help their feelings toward one another at all either, if the three of them were together he might get protective and try to push them apart. Woah... I wrote a ramble novel.... sorry! xD

yes, i can see that. they've worked together a few times for similar causes, mostly to fight against team rocket or some danger.

crystal, crystal, crystal. there's always a girl tossed in the mix to add an extra flare of drama. when/if silver actually ever comes into terms with his feelings for crystal, he'll get pretty pissed at gold for having feelings for her as well and try to shove him out of the picture, or not-- depends on his mood, haha. he'll totally initiate a pokemon battle for her! winner takes the girl and flees to a utopian underground cave; home of legendary pokemon across the globe. i'm a poor plotter, i'm sorry, but we should thread soon, lol. a group/3way should be in session soon.
