However, once a bond is established, he's loyal to them through and through. He's usually a very personable kind of guy, as he is generally not very cocky or arrogant. Instead, he has high expectations for himself, his pokemon, and those around him. Being surprisingly mature beyond his years has sometimes been a downfall as those his own age sometimes dislike his outlook. But those who can see past this are sure to be Falkner's true friends. ENEMIES As a general rule of thumb, Falkner tries to avoid making enemies. His father always taught him not to make a fool of himself nor provoke anyone unnecessarily. This won't keep him from speaking his mind in some cases, though, and this is mostly where his enemies may come from. Depending on the situation and the topic at hand, Falkner may end up speaking his mind if he believes something is stupid or doesn't agree with the situation. However, he'll back up his words by proceeding to tear apart the other person's idea/theory with logic. Nothing more, nothing less. ROMANCE To put it rather bluntly, catching Falkner's eye is rather difficult. He's not enough of a jerk to think that women are burdens, but he feels as though a female in his life would distract him far too much from his training. However, if he were to find a girl, he would very much like for her to be willing to train with him. In his eyes, a heated practice battle followed by a small picnic or dinner while watching the sun set with their pokemon around them would be the perfect date. While courteous and gentleman-like, he still has a very business-like air about him which may cause girls to shy away from him. But past it is a caring, playful sort of guy. |
