She is the gym leader in Olivine and Steel types are her specialty. In addition, she competes in pokemon Contests and Pokathelons. She also cares for the Lighthouse pokemon, Amphy the Ampharos. PERSONALITY: • Calm • Collected • Intelligent • Fun-loving • Intense • Loves a good Challenge • Sweet • Happy • Good people skills LIKES: • Thunder Storms • Heavy Metal Music (yep) • Morty, lol DISLIKES: • People that are just plain Annoying • People that don't have a sense of right and wrong • Doing Nothing HISTORY: Jasmine was born in Olivine and always loved the ocean. She enjoyed the feel of the cold sea, the taste of the salty air, the beauty of the sunsets on the water. Still, she was brought up simply with both a mother and a father that loved her very much. They raised her to be kind to others and to treat pokemon well. Still, Jasmine always had a bit of rebellion in her and when they asked her what kind of pokemon she wanted; she answered “Steel.” Most everyone was shocked by this. What high-class lady would desire a Steel type? Her parents got her the second best thing they could find, an Onix. The Rock Snake loved Jasmine immensely and they were great friends. Even though he was very overprotective, Onix, whom she named Steel, and Jasmine became inseparable. The girl constantly coated Steel in Metal Coat to make him shinier and to strengthen his defenses. Eventually, the Onix evolved into a Steelix much to everyone’s surprise. Soon after this however, the Ampharos that lit the lighthouse was killed in an act of terrorism by some unknown group. So Jasmine volunteered to journey to find a new Mareep to take its place. She found him by Falkner’s gym, injured gravely by a new trainer’s Totodile. Jasmine took in the Mareep which she dubbed Amphy and nursed him back to health. Amphy was quickly recovered and the group travelled back to Olivine. Along the way, Amphy evolved into a Flaffy. When she vigorously trained the pokemon, it eventually evolved into an Ampharos. In return for this, the mayor of Olivine appointed Jasmine gym leader when the old gym leader retired (he was a Poison leader). And so Jasmine set off to collect more steel types for her gym and to grow stronger. She collected her two Magnemite, but they were never particularly close to her until they evolved into her experienced Magnezone. Instead of being the kind of gym leader that just holes herself up in her gym, she decided to become more acquainted with the other leaders. She travelled to each gym and met with them all. Of course, Jasmine continued her fine reign. She won some. She lost some. But never before had she come to such a huge problem as this. The old mayor of the town retired and a new one was decided. He was secretly a member of Team Ultimatum and took over the town.
