His father often locked N in a room with toy trains, a skateboarding ramp, a dart board, and abused and neglected Pokemon to spend time with. He was rarely let out of the room unless he had his father's permission. Because of this, he grew to gradually understand the Pokemon more than actual people. The neglected Pokemon told him about how horrible their trainers were. Because of this, the green-haired sleuth grew to believe that Pokemon were simply being enslaved by their own trainers. When N was finally crowned king, he set out of the area to liberate Pokemon where he was humiliated in the end. Now that N knows where his morals are, he works with his Pokemon alongside his father as if he's a mere puppet.
