Well, I'm posting here for Cynthia and Jasmine....

Cynthia: We're from the same region, I mean, they probably know eachother or something. I don't know, maybe Volkner wants to be an Elite Four member but Cynthia doesn't know if he's up to it or not... There are plenty of possibilities, I'm probably open to all of them.

Jasmine: They could have been in a past relationship, making it kind of awkward when Jasmine visits the Sunnyshore Lighthouse, don't you think? Anyway, there shoud definitely be something here, like a friendship, rivalry, or whatnot.

Cynthia--! With her, I can see a cute kind of rivalry, because he'd hate to beat on her but she's so damn strong. So yeah, that could be a possibility ^^ I like what you're saying.

Jasmine--! LOOOVEEE TRRIAAAANNNGGLLEEE. I think that they definitely could have a past relationship, and perhaps she broke up with him because he was so lackluster with everything. And theeeeen he got a better outlook on life and now he's trying to get her back because then everything would be complete KAYGO

Jasmine~ Well, Random Inspiration time, I had an idea of awesomeness!
So: Jasmine goes to Sunnyshore because she misses her lighthouse at Olivine. Of course she doesn't tell Volkner about this because she doesn't want to make things awkward. So, he randomly comes up to the lighthouse and finds Jasmine kind of just standing really close to the guardrail and it looks like she's about to jump (she's not, lol) but then there's some tension, like Jasmine doesn't think she needs to be saved but Volkner's kind of worried. Almost like the scene from Titanic, if you catch my drift, it could just get kind of awkward. I don't really know what would happen next but hey, we could just let it play out.

I'm open to anything else too, just a crazy idea that I randomly had :)
