Hard mode game poll!

Hey forum. You may know me as the resident lurker/FABULOUS COORDINATOR! What you may not know is that I not only lurk here, but I also really want to start a Nuzlocke!

*Hold for applause and/or people to call the police*

For those who don't know what a Nuzlocke is, here is a simple chart:

Now, I have already decided on the rules I am following, but I wanted some help on some minor details. One of these details is of WHICH GAME TO PLAY. I'm only going to do Gen 3 on, because that's all the regions and FR/LG and HG/SS are more fun to play than their originals (Plus less broken).

Also, I need a theme for nicknaming. Any ideas? IE: On my previous nuzlocke (Which got overwritten by my sister before I could finish it :<) I nicknamed all m Pokes after famous musicians.

RULES I'M USING

1. I can only catch the first Pokemon I find in an area.
1b. Species clause is ON! I only have 3 attempts to find a different Pokemon. After that, sucks for me.
2. If a Pokemon faints, it's dead. I'm not sure whether I'll release it or put it in the PC Box "Heaven" or something along those lines.
3. Battle style put to "Set" Decided to get rid of this rule since this is my first "Real" Nuzlocke.
4. If I lose all my Pokemon in a single battle, I can still go on if I have some in a box.
5. Items/Pokemon centers are normal.
6. I must nickname every Pokemon.

P.S. - I might record the game as I nuzlocke it (And narrate if my mic decides not to suck) and post to Youtube.

@ Elijah, how far are you in Emerald? I went through Ruby without Species clause and.... 4 Zigzagoons in a row. Only got up to the first gym before the game was deleted. Lost my Poocheyena and Whismur early. Double Pick-Up was kinda nice though, TONS of Rare Candies helped.

Also, I still need a theme for nicknaming. Any ideas?

Black/White or Heart/Soul. Why? Newest and tend to have the most updated stuff. >_> Other then that..I say roll a dice and assign the games to dice numbers.
