PERSONALITY: • fire-hearted • strong headed • easily angered • bad temper • high self-esteem • often calm in the face of danger • proud • chin held high • sees pokemon as tools • favors fire types LIKES: • winning • getting his way • winning • finishing off his opponents DISLIKES: • good-doers • water-types • archie • loosing • looking bad • people who don't follow orders • people who don't finish their job HISTORY: You wouldn't have seen Maxie as different as a child; he was born to two loving parents in Viridian City, of whom soon moved to Cinnabar Island looking for new prospects quite soon after his birth. There, he grew up learning the ways of fire; Blaine was his hero growing up, and often the child snuck in to try to watch the leader battle against trainers, many of which lost. His other favorite pass times where traveling to the near volcano and reading books that the professors at the lab let him use. He was of innocence; many could not see him doing any harm, for he was mostly followed around by one of his parent's pokemon and never left alone for a long period of time; mostly watched over by neighbors or pokemon until his parents got back from what ever it was that they were doing. It was at age eight that the boy started getting ideas; while looking through books and records of fossil pokemon at the local laboratory, the child stumbled across a book with strange inscriptions on it. Curious, he looked inside, only to find words of legendary pokemon and their struggles with the many others that were said to have inhabitated the earth; one that caught his eye went by the name of groudon. the boy, form an early age, never really liked fire types. nor did he like swimming as much either; sure, he went swimming from time to time, but to the displeasure of having to go with his parents, which often was an ebaresment. he often wished of creating more land than there was water, which would take a great effort; but no matter, for maxie never liked giving up so easily. and because he was so innocent, no one would beleive that he would do such a thing, meaning that no one would guess that it was him. at the age of ten he started his journey as any normal child would, choosing a charmander over the other two starters. although while most people might have focused on getting their badges, maxie focused on other things; while he did train his pokemon to a large extent, often exhausting them to breaking point and a few times nearly killing them or another's pokemon, maxie's main goal was to study ancient history and the legendaries behind them. years passed, and regions the young man did cross, while training his pokemon to the extent and collecting a few badges here and there along the way, it was at the age of twenty that he found his calling; there is of course seventy-five percent of water covering the earth, and only twenty-five percent covering the rest of the earth; that left little to no room for mammals and other pokemon that needed the land to survive. it was a brilliant plan, really; to create more land for people and pokemon alike to live on, and less water that could contaminate his idea. there were only two problems: one being that he needed a team to do so, and the other one being he didn't have the equipment to do so. Therefore, he had to make a plan; it would take a few years, however he had the patience to wait and make it happen. As the years progressed, people soon began joining him; people that mostly believed in what he was doing. It wasn't long before Maxie had a name for this well bound team: Team Magma, set after for creating new land mass for people and Pokemon a like. He had his goal set; collect the Red and Blue orbs in order to take control of the legendary Groudon and Kyogre.
