Black was busy packing all of his belongings while five of his Pokemon played off in the distance, enjoying the fresh air and relaxing atmosphere of Pinwheel Forest. Snivy, on the other hand, was sitting by his lonesome, watching as his trainer finished cleaning the camp area up. As he finished folding the tent, Black glanced up over at his Pokemon and whistled them over to return to their Pokeballs, which they reluctantly did. The moment he had everything gathered up securely, he turned to Snivy and crouched down to allow him to scamper up onto his shoulder to perch there. "Off to Skyarrow Bridge, Snivy!" he announced, grinning. "Do you remember when we were there last time? I think Carracosta wanted to dive down into the water..."
Black laughed merrily as he began walking, hoisting his bag over his shoulder. It would be a long walk to Castelia City considering just how long and expansive Skyarrow Bridge was, but he was determined to find and defeat as much of Team Ultimatum that he could. The first thing he was going to do when he arrived there was to find the nearest restaurant and buy himself and his Pokemon the best food he could afford. He didn't mind eating whatever he had on him or anything like that. When traveling, he couldn't quite be picky with what he ate and he had to be careful with his money as well.
He walked down the pathway towards Skyarrow Bridge, stopping to speak with a couple of bikers about how nice the weather was and waving at a few kids running about with their Pokemon. As expected, the walk to the bridge was a long one and he decided it was best to take a small breather before continuing on. Luckily for Black, there was a set of benches before the entrance area to the bridge and he plopped down there with a sigh of relief. Snivy slid down from his shoulder and sat beside him, leaning against Black's arm. "Hey, hey. You shouldn't be so tired! I'm the one that does all the walking here." Black playfully scolded Snivy and patted his Pokemon's head.
After a few quiet minutes of relaxation, Black stood back up, this time carrying Snivy in his arms because of how tired he seemed to be. Perhaps he hadn't slept at all the previous night. Either way, he didn't mind carrying the Pokemon as he began heading towards the long, long bridge ahead.

So there Lady was, traveling in circles, looking for the famous Castelia City, which is known for its beautiful skyline she has witnessed, but only from the far reaches of a nearby river. To the princess, it felt like she had been traveling for days upon months upon years, yet it has only been about 24 hours. Some say riding on a Rapidash is easy, but obviously they've only been on a test run. Going up and down for constant periods of time does work on the thighs, and you normally feel the worst in the mornings..
Platinum woke up with a throbbing pain in her thighs from riding all day yesterday, gosh was she the worst with directions and maps! She had received tips and specific signs to get to the magnificent bridge, but she couldn’t comprehend any of it, boy did she miss Diamond and Pearl… Though today, she was going to try and make a difference, the pokedex holder was going to actually find someone that would actually take her to her destination. It took a while to get the courage to walk on her two wobbly legs, but she conquered them, then paid the inn manager her night’s rent, gathered her things and let Raree out so he could stretch his legs out. Even though Platinum wasn’t going to ride him, she knew he preferred to be out of confinement.
As they made their way out of the small village, she wondered how she was going to find someone she could sincerely trust. Anyone of an older age than she would scare her off, besides the sweet old timers, and anyone younger willing to take her on a tour had tricks up their sleeves. Thinking it over, she wondered how this world of chaos and crime came to be…
Her horse-pokemon neighed and grunted at what Platinum thought was nothing, but then she heard it also. It was a voice of a man, and she knew men could be terrifying, especially the ones with deep voices. Peering over the bushes, she saw him, and he was carrying a Snivy! He was a dexholder as well, she could also tell by the bag that ran across his upper body and rested on his hip.
Jumping out from behind the foliage, she tried to catch his attention, but failed, so instead of calling after him, she followed after him, trying to get caught up. “Excuse me?” she tried again, “I’m trying to get to the bridge that will take me to Castelia City. I was wondering if you could give me some directions?”
