Ever since he was little, he was influenced by his father, who used to also be a trainer. Jordan always wanted to be like his father and travel the different regions, challenging trainers and gym leaders while capturing new pokemon. When he was of age, his father lended him an Eevee to accompany him on his journey to New Bark Town. There, he picked his first partner in Professor's Elm's lab, a Cyndaquil. By the time he arrived back at his home in Cherrygrove, the Eevee had grown attached to him and became his next pokemon partner as he continued his journey around the Johto region. He took on trainer after trainer and finally managed to defeat all of the gym leaders. It was during his journey in Johto that his Cyndaquil evolved into a Quilava. Also, during his trip to the day care center outside Goldenrod City, he was given a Pokemon egg to take care of. He was absolutely delighted and excited as to what Pokemon will hatch out of it. He tried his very best to take care of it and it finally hatched into a Pichu when he was in Olivine city. He also caught his Phanpy and Skarmory in Johto. After a while, he headed on to explore the Honenn region, where he started to also participate in Pokemon contests once in a while as well. It was during this leg of his journey that he met some of his other companions. First off, he met Aipom, who he chased down and caught after the monkey-like Pokemon stoled his pokedex. Now the two are close friends and the naughty Aipom, who he named Jin, likes to travel with Jordan outside its Pokeball. He also met Beautifly and Ralts. His Eevee also evolved into an Umbreon during his travel in Honenn. It wasn't long before he decided to also head down over to the Shinnoh region to explore as well. He met Lucario and his newest party Pokemon, Buizel. By now, his Ralts evolved into a Kirlia and his Pichu into a Raichu.
