“I’ll forever sit here at this window;
Watching them all come and go.”

Time passed…
With such ease, it just seemed to float by and settled with the silence. The grass was freshly rising with new droplets of dew upon the tips only after submitting to the eager steps of Floaroma Inn’s most recent guests. With .laughter and excitement that seemed to fade with the passing time, silence had once again come as nothing but a soft breeze had caused the flowers of the inn’s garden front to sway freely. Every now and again, there was a single petal that had taken flight with a stronger blow. It landed gently at the doorstep catching the attention of the big blue orbs that sat on it so suddenly.
”…Oh?”
With an intrigued gasp, the young violet haired tenant had bent his knees, kneeling, as he swept up the single pink petal from the wooden floor boards. From where he stood, a step away from the concrete path that parted the fragrant floral, he had been in silence as he stood tall once again and simply stared at the petals and lost in the memories that it had brought to his very doorstep. Eyes slightly squinting and lips pressed to straighten his expression, he had felt cascading images fill his head that made him close his eyes and part his fingers letting the petal be swept away by the gentle breeze once more.
”Gro!” the chirp made the kimono of the violet haired boy fly up before he turned and gazed down upon the figure before him who had folded arms, ”Grovyle!”
The violet haired boy smiled sweetly.
”…Oh! Right! S-sorry, Princess!”
She was such a good friend, even if she had shown it with a spoiled attitude. Orchid looked down towards the Grovyle wrapping his thoughts around his memories with her rather than those hectic days of his. It was probably her goal seeing she was so uptight and high on her ego. It always amused the inn keeper, but also was admirable seeing she was certain and sure unlike himself who drifted between memories he reprieved with the sprawled out inn. Her arms folded and eyes coated with remnants of berry to give the impression of makeup and eye shadow, she was nothing short of the sovereignty she emanated when they first met.
”Since that’s the last of the guests, how about I treat you to a cup of tea, Princess?”
Gro!” a nod given as a reply to the answer as the Grovyle had thrust her feet out and landed on her hind. Her arms remained folded and eyes shut with such esteem as she retained her usual spoiled attitude, surely expecting for the young boy to bring not only the tea, but the very setting to the primped up Pokemon. It was to be expected of her and nothing less, and so he had something for such occasions to avoid seeing her grumpy side.
In a matter of seconds, the inn keeper had begun to fold out a makeshift brown table as well as two rounded wooden cups. A teapot that was an old and worn antique was polished and shinning with the flowery blossom upon the white surface front. It did not take long for the tea to be done as it already being poured freshly from the spout with a piping hot steam that streamed from the cup. The other Pokemon friends of the inn keeper were not interested in such things, but the Grovyle was so primped and sophisticated that it wanted to imitate the adoring pleasures that even humans enjoyed.
Nevertheless, it was still quiet when she was entertained. The young boy could see the bittersweet expression on the Grovyle’s face, mostly being the satisfaction of having him bend to her will being so sweet, but the bitter being that he was still faulty in his Tea making skills. A couple of sips of his very own had proven this as he only let out a simple chuckle as if he was silently admitting how terrible he was at his skill. The porch had turned into their sanctuary instead of the inner lobby where there was a coffee table and padded cushions for the guests. It made no difference to the violet haired boy; after all, he would prefer any time of bliss he could possibly experience that would wipe away the hopeless feelings he had in his past life.
With a face brimming with such a weak smile as he sat upon the porch, Orchid had taken a sip of his tea as he watched the day past before his blue eyes.
