Villainous Thief/Plot Characters needed!!

Hey guys...

It's Mariette here. I was discussing in the cbox about some plotting and had a marvelous idea that might stir the pot around here, plot-wise that is. It started with a mini-plot Cliffwalker and I began to devise between his character Caleb Wales and my cannon Bill. If enough active members got involved this could be the start of an epic wild goose chase across the regions!

Here is everything all up in a nutshell- Bill, even though he is an inventor, is short on funding for his latest adaption of the Time Capsule. In a final attempt to impress them with the newer technology and (hopefully) milk persuade the Pokemon League for more grant money he initiates an anonymous Mystery Gift Exchange to be held with a Person from the future, using his demo version of the new Time Capsule. The event would likely be highly publicized and known throughout all the regions.

The plan goes smoothly, and lo' and behold! A (insert strangely awesome/mysterious item/egg/ring of power/pokeball/thingy***) was transported back to the present age. /applause!/

Here is where things get exciting and when we need a Villain to interfere. Obviously, whatever the 'mystery gift' is, it holds something powerful within it and someone, somewhere is bound to take interest. Preferably someone with a connection to Team Ultimatum, or someone with any kind of selfish intent for it. Before Bill delivers the Mystery Gift to the Pokemon League it could be stolen in the night (OR the daytime, like it matters) which would begin a full blown manhunt, lead by Caleb-- The Pokemon League's go-to guy. If more characters get thrown in the mix this could get very interesting and unpredictable. And of course Bill will probably tag along as well, feeling partially responsible for the entire mess. I would love for anyone who wants to be involved somehow to play a part in this. It could easily go in ANY direction, the Mystery Gift could potentially be mixed up or lost or found by ANYONE and potentially make it into the right (or wrong) hands.

So, any takers on this? It's totally open to whoever wants to participate, the more the merrier.

*** I would also love some feedback on what the mysterious Mystery Gift from the future should be exactly, in physically form and what kind of power it should hold. If anyone could throw around some ideas, that would be awesome, it's currently drawing close to midnight where i reside and my brain too tired to function at the level required for this kind of creative brainstorming. ^^;

Well, I've got a villain thief here, if you need one. He's part of the Shadow Triad of Team Plasma, aka he's a highway man for Team Ultimatum who goes around posing as a professor/someone of a high rank to steal things from stupid travelers. He's got a strong enough team and he's quick on his feet, so maybe Ren (Lawrence) steals it? I dunno, just a suggestion.

Also:
What if the Mystery Gift is that "Snag machine" from Pokemon Colosseum? Or maybe it's the machine that turns them into Shadow Pokemon?
It could hint to the beginning of Team Snagem for the future of the Pokemon world, and it's powerful enough that someone actually would want it destroyed or would want to use it for their own purpose.

Sounds awesome, thanks for posting! Luckily, characters are now being accepted again so we can get this all underway soon. I'll PM you and such when the ball gets rolling, in the meantime i still need to finish Bill's application. :D

I vote the Shadow Pokemon machine for the first mystery gift. Then when they find out the purpose of the machine...a snag/purify machine is made to fix this. Like the prototype. =D

I think it's a great idea too, I never played Pokemon Colosseum is the only catch so i am unfamiliar with how it works. Is it THIS thingy? 0_0 And if so, is it transferable from person to person, or is it stuck on the arm it is attached to?

I played Pokemon Colosseum. And it is transferable from person to person. SO you can take it off. =D If you need more questions, I will gladly answer them. Maybe Team U starts capturing legendaries and turning them into Shadow Pokemon?
