Saving others from the evil schemes of Team Galactic also come into the equation, as seen during his adventures. His hunger for a champion title gives him the tunnel vision that most others do not. His father, a Battle Frontier brain, further proves the potential that Pearl brings to the trainer industry. Highly pressurized to be the best, he quickly found friends in the personas of Diamond and Pearl, ironically later becoming his rivals. Saving a basket from a pack of wild Starlys, he quickly attached the Pokémon in which he used to battle off the Starlys, otherwise known as a Chimchar. He and Chimchar was sent on a quest to help Professor Rowan along with Platinum and her buddy, and Diamond. Pearl was the most competitive out of the trio, racing on forwards ahead of the other two in their quest. It was here that he met his first capture, a Geodude. Tripping it over coincidentally, he and Geodude grew to like each other from a rough start. Pearl seems to always have a disastrous start with his Pokémon, but the main thing is that he has a good relationship with all of them, right? Overcome by his father's shadow, Pearl wanted to follow in his father's footsteps yet try to be different. Armed with a party of powerful aides, Pearl quickly climbed the ranks of reputation whilst on several occasions, meeting Platinum and Diamond on several of his quests. Pearl has matured several of his Pokémon to their max evolved stage, creating a party of phenomenal power that Pearl has the up most control over. He hasn't seen Diamond or Platinum in a long time and misses battling them just like he had done in their quest. Still on his exploration, Pearl's dream is to travel over to different regions and become the greatest trainer that had ever lived. A modest goal, in which his father's pride would finally be achieved. |
