Her Father was an expierenced breeder and trained his daughter to follow his footsteps. For her 8th birthday her father gave Makura her first egg to take care of; he told her that if she took proper care of the egg she would be able to keep the pokemon. That gave her all the determination she needed; she took amazingly good care of it and her Bulbasaur was hatched. She bonded and cared for her Vyne with enough affection to fill the oceans. When she was 13 she had come across a Leaf Stone on the sidewalk while comeing home from the grocery. Once she got home she asked Bulbasaur if he wanted to evolve, and he refused adamantly. She took the stone and made a necklace of it, just incase he would ever want to evolve. Makura's father gave her a task when she was 15 to go out and catch her own Ditto. Vyne was more than happy to go out and help his trainer achieve her dreams, one step at a time. She decided to travel all the way out to Route 13 to catch her new Ditto. After a few days she returned successful, a new ditto named Goop. Her next couple years were exciting, she was finally allowed to assist with her father's Daycare, which wasn't as well known as the the one on route 5, but was just as good, if not better.
