Yeah, so Owl's been gone for a while now, and quite a few members have fallen inactive (as far as I can tell, though I haven't been on much lately myself). I say that it's high time we moved to another site.
The site would obviously be similar to AWWMD in plot. Though most of us can't code, we can find coders on On the Edge (a roleplay support forum) to skin for us, and we can take a poll for who the staff members should be (I say that 2-3 admins and a mod or two should be more than enough). Though there'd be no quick way to transport threads to the new site, nothing's stopping us from copying & pasting threads that we care about over. It'd even give us a chance to purge inactive characters and redo bios; y'know, to start off fresh!
So, what're your opinions? Should we wait longer or move? If we wait longer, how much longer do we wait? If we move, what do we keep/change from here? What are the pros and cons of each option? Do you have another idea? [/blockquote] |

As much as I really HATE saying it, I think we gotta move. I don't know Owl well at all, but hopefully they'll understand and such. We've been waiting long enough and it's true.. we can't function with Admin or Mod powers.
We can possibly rip the layout from here, although it was created by Owl so again.. Not sure how they feel about that. But everything else is an easy transfer.
I pretty much think we keep everything generally the same, but I think we should signify what our roleplay is more based towards for creating or basing the canons off from. Like game, manga, or anime. Or if it's free standing like it is now.
I also think we should make sure that Green is the male and Blue is the girl next time >->;;
But that's my input, not being rude or ungrateful to Owl in anyway.

I really like this site and was looking forward to RPing on it.
And I saw that the other members are trying to keep this place alive, but with the admin gone, this site can only go so far..

I do not know Owl, but I do say we need to leave because a site can only exist for so long.
There are some questions.
How close do we keep the new site to do this site?
New site name? New Team Name? But same basic plot. I'm just afraid Owl will come back and see the new site and feel that we stole from him/her. Or do we name a site identical this and leave a place in adminstration for Owl.
Right now, I don't have a opinion on this.
Also, Manga, Anime, Freestanding, or Game, just like Diamond said. There are some differences. Actually, I've been a fan of manga, but that is because I read it and there is a Yellow. And there's always a possibility of a combination of these things.

Ffff, I love this site.
Hey guys, grey over here popping in to say that after some deliberation, I have decided to make a site more or less the same as awwmd. It'll be semi-canon and all that. |D Just now actually. Literally. Anyway, there's still the boards and coding to deal with this, and I'm still even debating whether I should skin this thing myself or if I should ask for help too, but I'm making the boards first.
But of course, I'm gonna need some staffers to help out. I'm not going to post the link here, rather, send me a pm if you're interested. :3

Oh sweet, people wanna pick it back up! I would love to help you guys admin/mod this place when you find a new home. I've admin'd on several sites so I definitely have some experience. I wanna play Black obviously, so this would be lots of fun. I'd love to find a new pokemon rp though, almost all of the good ones are inactive!

Okay..Here is my opinions:
1) Same basic plot..but change elements, names, and add a few more stuff. [*points to Bill's thread*]
2) New Team Name..>_> That is a must in my book.
3) New Layout/Skin -- I am willing to do that...XD A temporarily one.
4) For the histories/site stuff...I say combination of game/manga. Manga up to Black/White. After that is game.. But we can always add elements of the game and tweak stuff. =P

I say we go for a new site. We've waited... a long time, and the site's getting slow... So it's probably in our best interests. I guess this means we're starting over though, right? With more ideas for plots done already. XD
I'm willing to be a mod if we need one. I can move topics, approve apps and maybe advertise, but that's the extent of my skills there.
